Architecting and building a distributed telemetry platform for F1 25 game data, with race strategy tooling as the longer-term goal.

  • A C++ adapter receives binary UDP telemetry and validates it against EA's published specification with compile-time layout checks
  • Publishes Protocol Buffer messages to Kafka, where a C# gateway streams them to a React frontend via SignalR
  • A C++ UDP injector exercises the full pipeline, including malformed packets, without the game running
  • Backend complete and tested end-to-end; currently implementing the React frontend
